Reasons for taking Virginia's Online Driver Improvement Clinic Course

Read Carefully:

We can't issue your certificate unless you choose the correct reason.

1. NCT Court (NO POINTS AWARDED) - Most Common

Choose NCT, if you have received a citation paper like this one - click here

1. No Save Driving Points will be awarded.
   

2. DMV Required

Choose DMV, if the DMV office directed you to take the course.

1. Drivers required by DMV to complete the clinic.
2. Safe driving points are awarded (IF ELIGIBLE) for drivers 18 and over. Drivers under age 18 will not be awarded safe driving points if the clinic attendance was required by DMV.

3. Volunteer

Choose VOL, if you are taking the course voluntarily as you might be eligible to have your points removed.

1. Drivers completing the clinic voluntarily.
2. Safe driving points are awarded (if eligible).
   

4. YCT Court (POINTS AWARDED)

Choose YCT if you have gone to court and the judge told you to take this course. You will be awarded Save Driving Points.

1. Drivers required by the court to complete the clinic.
2. A court document will need to be emailed to 2COOL Traffic School - click here to email it - stating that the driver is to be awarded safe driving points must be presented to the clinic. Safe driving points will not be awarded if this documentation is not received by the clinic.

5. Insurance

1. Drivers completing the clinic to receive an insurance premium discount; eligibility must be verified with the driver's insurance company.
2. No safe driving points are awarded.
   

If answered incorrectly, you will be charged an additional FEE for a replacement certificate and will need to complete and sign an additional form.
